The Late Late Show with James Corden is live from London this week, but host James Corden shared a brand new, pre-taped edition of the show's breakout hit, "Carpool Karaoke" with special guest Ed Sheeran.
Sheeran dropped in to pick up his guitar but stuck around to perform some of his biggest hits with Corden like "Shape of You", "SING", and "Thinking Out Loud".
"I was feeling so nervous about coming on this show, because I couldn't see what was amusing about me singing my songs in a vehicle", the shotgun singer tells Corden at one point between his hits.
This edition was heavier on music than comedy, as the singer/songwriter (and Game of Thrones actor) and Corden went through five of Sheeran's songs plus One Direction's "You Don't Know You're lovely". The two singers were drunk and Beiber asked Sheeran to hit a golf ball out of his mouth using a golf club.More news: White House to Comey: Go ahead and testify. We won't stop you
Meanwhile, The Late Late Show with James Corden has come to London, and producer Matt from The Chris Moyles Show went to see him.
'I'd wake up every morning and there would be like 50 messages and none of the would say "hey, how are you?" it would be like "can I have this?"
'I had this driving wedge and I [teed up] and I cracked him across the face!' he recalled.
Ed Sheeran managed to break his own record by cramming 55 Maltesers chocolates in his mouth during his Carpool Karaoke appearance on Tuesday (06Jun17).More news: Apple announces macOS High Sierra
"He was actually really cool about it", said Sheeran.
Oh yeah, and they also sung his hits, because that's kind of the point.
The British singer also touched on his attachment to his guitar, saying he always feels more comfortable with it in hand.More news: President Trump's typo 'covfefe' stumps spelling bee champ
