A message spreading on Facebook warning users to avoid accepting a friend request from Jayden K. Smith is the latest social media hoax to spread on the site, Snopes confirmed Monday. The message is sent via Facebook messenger with a warning of a hacker with that name having a system connected to your Facebook account. "If one of your contacts accepts it, you also will be hacked". There was no evidence that the anonymous Smith was hacking into Facebook accounts just by becoming a friend. Of course you should always be careful who you add as a friend on social networks (and be aware that it might be a ne'er-do-well posing posing as somebody you know), but warnings like this are useless.
Users are sharing a message which warns that anyone who adds Mr Smith as a friend will have their account HACKED. Eastern standard time, I do not give Facebook or any entities associated with Facebook permission to use my pictures, information, or posts, both past and future. Longer versions of this hoax claim accepting the user will result in your account getting hacked.More news: Iraq PM declares victory in 'liberated' Mosul
