Every Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite's DLC Character Announced

Posted September 19, 2017

Capcom has previously confirmed the addition of Black Panther on the Marvel side and Mega Man X bad guy Sigma on the Capcom side.

You'll notice there's only two new Capcom characters compared to four new Marvel ones, which immediately unbalances the roster line-up.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is set to release tomorrow, and alongside that release Capcom have revealed the first batch of DLC to come for the crossover fighter. All four characters have been leaked at one point or another on various lists. Only Monster Hunter and Sigma are representing the Capcom contingent.

It took Capcom a long time, but Black Widow can finally join her teammates in a Marvel vs Capcom title. The combat feels smooth, the depth is there for dedicated players, and it's a much more feature-complete offering when compared to the launch version of Street Fighter V.

You'll get all six characters with the Deluxe Edition, which is going for $89.99 / £64.98 / €79.98 over the base game's $59.99 / £39.99 / €49.99.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC on September 19.

We liked the game in our review but its biggest problem is the predictable roster of characters, with only five brand new ones and no characters that Marvel does not own the film rights to. It's a diverse roster filled with fun to play characters, and it'll only get stronger when DLC characters like Black Panther and Monster Hunter get added in the future.
