Aww! Prince Harry, Meghan Markle arrive to Invictus Games holding hands

Posted September 27, 2017

The event marks the first time the pair have been seen together at an official event.

The Invictus Games - which Harry launched in 2014 and serves as a Paralymic-style global event for wounded servicemen and women -was also the ideal place for the pair to go public, as Meier notes.

If you were under any doubt as to the relationship status of Meghan Markle and Hellraiser Harry, you need only look at the Husband shirt that the American actor wore on Monday afternoon while she was holding hands - and at one point kissing - the prince.

The happy couple were snapped at the Invictus Games in Toronto, Canada, with Prince Harry not shying away from public displays of affection.

Notably though, the pair sat separated for the rest of the event with Prince Harry sitting near Melania Trump and Markle sitting next to her close friend Markus Anderson, who reportedly introduced the pair, as The Telegraph notes.

The Suits actress was spotted taking in the game, chatting with the children gathered around her and applauding the Australia vs. Looking completely smitten, William's brother and his gorgeous girlfriend giggled, whispered in one another's ears and held hands as they walked. Harry is fiercely protective of his private life, so the sight of the two of them striding together towards the tennis venue sent camera crews scrambling.

The laughter didn't stop as Markle and Harry took their seats at the Invictus Games event, with the prince sharing a few private jokes that had his girlfriend in stitches. Following the couple's appearance at the Invictus Games opening ceremony on Saturday, the Queen's representative in Canada has described the royal romance as "marvellous". Trudeau, on the other hand, played mischief by pointing at his photographer while encouraging more cheering.

We can't wait to see what's in store for the rest of the Games.

Toronto is also where Markle spends much of her time filming Suits so her attendance does not come as much of a surprise.

Earlier Monday, Prince Harry gave a speech to the Canadian Institute for Military and Veterans Mental Research (CIMVHR) Conference, where he described the importance for these games for those who have served their country. Harry told fans and the wounded athletes, "I hope you are ready for some fierce competition, you are all winners".
