Ranveer Singh as Sultan Alauddin Khilji in "Padmavati". In fact the trailer of Padmavati looks a lot like part 2 of Bajirao Mastani. While Deepika and Shahid share an extremely strong chemistry on-screen in the trailer, Ranveer takes the cake with his nearly Khal Drogo inspired Alauddin Khilji. The looks of the cast members have piqued everyone's interest from the average movie buff to Ranbir Kapoor to Karan Johar.

However, the movie "Padmavati" is based on the 14th century. Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji, is seen unleashing his cruel side.
