Patton Oswalt marries Meredith Salenger 4 months after engagement

Patton Oswalt is a happy man again.

Over the weekend, the comedian Wednesday Meredith Salenger in an intimate ceremony at the Jim Henson Studios in Los Angeles.

The bride wore a gorgeous off-the-shoulder white gown, which she paired with a bright bouquet of pink and red peonies, while her beau donned a simple grey suit. As it's believed that the twosome were introduced by mutual friend Martha Plimpton, it only makes sense that The Goonies actress officiated the ceremony.

The traditional Jewish ceremony reportedly ended with the comedian breaking a glass as guests shouted "Mazel Tov!"

Oswalt and Salenger started to become closer in February when they were both invited to Plimpton's dinner party, which Oswalt ultimately had to miss due to time conflicts.

"The next day, Meredith sent me a Facebook message, saying,"Ugh you missed some unbelievable lasagna last night".

Their nuptials mark a significant moment in the 48-year-old star's life following the unexpected passing of his first wife of 11 years, Michelle McNamara, in 2016.

Oswalt and Salenger then went public with their romance at the Los Angeles premiere of the movie "Baby Driver" in June.

Patton Oswalt and Meredith Salenger got married at the Jim Henson Company Lot in Hollywood on Saturday afternoon.

"I think for Patton, having met and found love after over a year of intense therapy and openly grieving and dealing with his pain..."

Meredith shared the same photo, writing on Instagram, "True love".
