Some Xbox One X consoles becoming unresponsive

The worlds most powerful system, Microsoft's Xbox One X is here and to celebrate its launch big stars and celebrity gamers hit up Microsoft's NYC 5th avenue flagship store on Monday night (Nov. 6). Sarah Needleman from The Wall Street Journal tweeted about the news while posing an important question about the sales: Did Xbox One X buyers clean GameStop's massive supply, or did GameStop just not have enough consoles to sell?

Auckland mum Tarls Murray was the first person in the world to get an Xbox One X when her Project Scorpio Edition was hand-delivered to her doorstep by Dan Livingstone, who in 2013 was the first person in the world to receive the original Xbox One.

Do you think 1TB of storage on the Xbox One X will be enough for the majority, or do you see most customers look for external hard drives at some point? With not enough consoles to go around and everyone firing up their Xbox One X and sharing their experiences, having to wait for the console to be restocked would help generate more buzz to keep the sales thriving. The games being available on all of the console lineup makes it hard for devs to focus exclusively on the more powerful console, much more like how optimization works on PC. If you're an early adopter and are in need to play Xbox One X enhanced content, perhaps World of Tanks will capture your interest. But is the flashy new offering enough to make casual Xbox users upgrade?
