Posted November 11, 2017

HOLLYWOOD hardman Terry Crews has filed an official police report after being groped by a movie executive at an A-list party.

"My wife n I were at a Hollywood function previous year n a high level Hollywood executive came over 2 me and groped by privates", the actor wrote.

Crews came forward in the early days following the Harvey Weinstein accusations, saying the experience had given him new understanding for those who stay silent about sexual assault.

Crews added that he chose not to act on the assault because his harasser had "power and influence" and he didn't want to risk being ostracized - even though the attacker admitted he was guilty in an apology phone call the next day. Crews wrote on his Twitter account he was at a function with his wife when the Hollywood executive came over and allegedly grabbed his "privates" and the alleged abuser then "grinned like a j-k" when Crews questioned what he was doing.

The Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor elaborated further in his tweet about why he waited so long to speak on the incident.

'I let it go. "And I understand why many women who this happens to let it go". ( few) What r the repercussions?(many) Do u want 2 work again? Many applauded the actor for coming forward and being so candid. Hollywood is not the only business where this happens, and to the casualties of this behaviour - you are not alone.

Crews filing a report could start a criminal investigation.
