Increasing clouds today with a few showers late

Temperatures will warm nicely today under mostly sunny skies.

Temperatures will start to trend a bit cooler, but still above normal for this time of year on Thursday. The weekend features lots of sunshine and more seasonable afternoons with generally light winds.

We'll continue our stretch of above average days through early next week before colder air is expected to settle in by Wednesday.

Highs this afternoon are going to be more than 10 degrees cooler compared to yesterday afternoon. There isn't moisture with it but it will cause an increase in clouds early in the day and eventually cooler temperatures.

Temperatures are milder, but not too cold.

Next weekend will remain nice with great weather to get outside! There is a 20% chance of rain on Sunday, however. These few showers will be because of southerly winds returning.

The week begins mild in the 50s but trends much colder mid to late week. It won't be a total washout, but showers will be likely especially for the afternoon hours. A rogue shower can not be ruled out during the day. Looking ahead to next week, a potential pattern change is on the way that will likely bring some rain on Tuesday followed by signs of colder air by Wednesday through the end of next week. No more bright sunshine - clouds will clearly win the sky. Then overnight, temperatures will fall to the mid 40s. The result will be clouds sticking around for most of the day and highs staying mainly in the mid to upper 50s for the metro west with a few lower 60s across southeastern Oklahoma.
