The week begins mild in the 50s but trends much colder mid to late week. It won't be a total washout, but showers will be likely especially for the afternoon hours. A rogue shower can not be ruled out during the day. Looking ahead to next week, a potential pattern change is on the way that will likely bring some rain on Tuesday followed by signs of colder air by Wednesday through the end of next week. No more bright sunshine - clouds will clearly win the sky. Then overnight, temperatures will fall to the mid 40s. The result will be clouds sticking around for most of the day and highs staying mainly in the mid to upper 50s for the metro west with a few lower 60s across southeastern Oklahoma.
