Other details outlined by Bandai Namco include a new move called Reversal Edge which lets players counter their opponents in a clash-for-clash attack.

"The fast and kinetic gameplay of SoulCalibur is on full display in SoulCalibur VI".

The weapons and character roster is apparently "stellar" and even more so when "combined with a simple control layout".

SoulCalibur VI is in development for PS4, Xbox One and PC, scheduled for release in 2018.
