'Tiger Zinda Hai' races past Rs. 100 crore at Box-Office

The film has not only broken records of 2017, it has also trampled some of Khan's previous ones. His last release Tubelight didn't do well at the box office. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial, which is backed by Yash Raj Films (YRF), is a sequel to Kabir Khan-directed "Ek Tha Tiger". It revolves around the Superstar Salman Khan who is playing a role of Indian RAW agent Tiger. Dangal had been released on 4,250 screens across India, while the Hindi version of Baahubali 2 had got 3,950 screens. So we are concentrating on just Bollywood films alone.

With a beginning so stupendous, Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai is up for a dream run in the coming days too. The film has collected Rs 114.93 crore over the first weekend. Considering the current figures and the craze around the film, Tiger Zinda Hai will go a long way. Tiger Zinda Hai has shown tremendous growth over the weekend. It made Rs 33.75 crore on Friday, Rs 31.25 crore on Saturday and Rs 42.50 crore on Sunday, totalling to Rs 107.5 crore, despite a slight fall on Saturday from Friday. Interestingly, the film has already beaten the records of the superstar's own earlier films like Sultan - that raked in a Rs 104 crore in its first three days and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo which earned a a little over Rs 100 crore in its first three days. However, the movie has managed to recover not just the investment costs, but has made a lot more than that.
