Harvey Weinstein slapped in face in restaurant in Arizona

Posted January 11, 2018

One of the men named Steve told TMZ he asked Weinstein for a picture after telling him how much he loves his movies.

The man allegedly went up to Harvey and said, "you're a piece of sh*t for what you did to these women", and he then attempted to attack Harvey. The restaurant manager said that Weinstein was polite about denying the request, but Steve claimed that the embattled former studio head was "belligerent". However, the entire incident was captured on video that TMZ obtained.

Steve had reportedly approached Weinstein earlier in the evening to take a photo, but the producer declined.

Yes, in case you've forgotten, over 60 women have accused him of extreme sexual assault.

The audio, like the original video of the slap, was published by TMZ. The Paradise Valley Police Department told The Arizona Republic that it had received no calls from the restaurant's location nor reports about the incident.

TMZ reported that the man behind the camera asked Weinstein if he wanted to call the police, but Weinstein declined and everyone went their separate ways. Mr. Weinstein has further confirmed that there were never any acts of retaliation against any women for refusing his advances.
