Twitch Prime Subscribers Now Get Free PC Titles Every Month

Posted March 15, 2018

We're celebrating the incredible community response to the Twitch Prime Indie Amplifier program and welcoming all of our new members with the introduction of Free Games with Prime, a brand new program that upgrades your membership by giving you a collection of free games every month starting this Thursday, March 15th. And not just once, it seems Twitch will run through a rotation of games every month. Since there is now a free game bundle that comes with the subscription of Twitch Prime, it has all major forms of mass media that a Prime subscription covers, according to Fast Company. Now, Prime members are getting even more, as Twitch has announced its new Free Games with Prime initiative.

The games being offered by Twitch are previously released critically acclaimed titles from its archives.

There will be five more games made available for free in April, including Tales from the Borderlands, SteamWorld Dig 2, Kingsway, Tokyo 42, and Dubwars.

In a way this is similar to Microsoft's Games with Gold program except for Twitch members. It's unknown whether you'll have to install the Twitch desktop app to access these games.

The best part is that according to Twitch, these games are for gamers to keep forever.

The free games in the whole scheme of Twitch Prime fit in as a benefit.

For those who have been paying to Twitch's Indie Amplifier contest over the past month, most of these games will be familiar.

I have not played Superhot on the PC, but it is one of my favorite titles in VR using the Vive.

For those interested, Twitch Prime is included with Amazon Prime memberships, costing an annual fee of £79/$99 or a monthly fee of £5.99/$12.99.
