The recently announced remastered collection of the first two Shenmue games will have several new features such as modern controls, the option to choose between Japanese & English voice acting and an updated user interface. The official announcement trailer is not enough to base on, either, since Sega noted at the start that "This trailer uses pre-release footage, and represents a work in progress".
This is the definitive version of these all-time classics and will be the best Shenmue experience to date. "We've tried to stay as close to the original feature sets in each game as possible, so Shenmue 1 will not have the time skip feature", a Sega spokesperson told the VG247 website.
