Along with this new plan upgrade, all of the three major telecom companies have released a new plan offering 2GB data per day for 28 days. Earlier the Rs 348 prepaid recharge plan from Vodafone was only offering 2.5GB of daily data use. The telco now offers a recharge pack worth Rs. 299 with 3GB 4G data per day for 28 days. The chief attraction of the latest offering is that it will enable even those customers who lack a smartphone to access 4G services. Also, there is no free caller tune offer with this plan. That said, customers in circles of Chennai and Kolkata are offered the benefits of ₹348 plan for ₹347, with customers in Haryana getting it at ₹344. It is now available in Assam, Mumbai, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh West/East circles. It has Rs. 549 pack that offers 3.5GB 4G data per day along with Unlimited Local, STD+Roaming calls and 100 SMSes per day for a validity period of 28 days. So, with this plan, Vodafone is offering a total of 84GB 3G/4G data with a validity of 28 days. Airtel is also giving 3GB Data per day in the 349 plan. However, BSNL charges standard call rates for voice calls made to mobile numbers in Delhi-NCR and Mumbai telecom circles, despite the "unlimited voice call" claim, unlike private players like Jio, Airtel and Vodafone. Vodafone also has Rs 509 pack where it offers 1.4 GB per day for 90 days and Rs 549 which gives 3.5 GB per day for 28 days.
