Fortnite's Thanos Mode Will Not Be Available From Tomorrow

In this LTM, players landed on the Fortnite map and search for the Infinity Gauntlet, which is the all-powerful weapon wielded by Thanos, the main villain in Infinity War.

The Fortnite 4.2 update was originally scheduled to go live early this morning, though Epic pushed it back along with the planned Fortnite downtime. "Downtime begins at 4am ET (08:00 GMT)".

The Fortnite 4.2 patch notes have yet to be released, as they will coincide with the launch of the v4.2 update. But who knows what else Marvel and Fortnite will cook up in the future? The update, which is due to bring an end to the game's time-limited Infinity Gauntlet mode, has had to be delayed due to the discovery of an unspecified error.

Currently, the only official information we have about the Burst Assault Rifle is that it will come in both Epic and Legendary rarities - this seems to follow the example of the silenced pistols and heavy shotguns, which were two similarly enhanced versions of weapons already in the game. A release date for the new weapon wasn't confirmed in the update, but it's expected that the Epic and Legendary variants of the gun will be available once the new update drops tomorrow.

Research has revealed that in April Twitch megastar Tyler "Ninja" Blevins had the biggest social interactions of all athletes.

Therefore, if you want to kill some more players with Thanos, it might just be a good idea to cancel your plans for this evening and dedicate it to Fortnite instead.
