GSC announces STALKER 2 for the second time

Posted May 16, 2018

The game's site simply has a dark concrete background with "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2" and "2.0.2.1." painted into it, likely indicating that this game won't be around until another three years.

This isn't the first time GSC Game World has announced S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2; In 2010, the game was announced with a 2012 release window. The bad news is that it's not going to happen anytime soon: The Stalker 2 site now indicates that it'll be out in 2021.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is uncompromising Ukrainian FPS survival horror series set under the shadow of the Chernobyl incident.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 was then cancelled, and GSC scattered to the radiation-poisoned winds.
