Oh, and to add fuel to the fire, the game has also just been rated for the Nintendo Switch on the Korean ratings board. And, as expected in this kind of situation, Epic Games has yet to confirm or deny the rumors.

The leak comes in the form of an image, first circulated on 4chan, that showcased marketing materials for several games for the Switch.

Fortnite on Nintendo Switch allegedly will soon become a reality. "Fortnite fans have been waiting on a Nintendo Switch version, and it looks like we're about to hear more about it at or before E3".

Fortnite is already available on almost every platform imaginable, including mobile.

Separately, an anonymous source familiar with the plans of Fortnite developer Epic Games told Kotaku this week that Fortnite would arrive on Nintendo Switch.

A new leak has surfaced online this week which puts Fortnite being announced alongside the likes of Federation Internationale de Football Association 19 and Paladins.

Right now it's unknown which incarnation of Fortnite will supposedly be hitting Switch.

Fortnite Battle Royale continues to go from strength-to-strength, with Season 4's content and Battle Pass proving very popular. Eurogamer also corroborated the information in a separate report that the massively popular shooter would be coming to the Switch down the line. "Circles will be faster, combat more rapid, and eliminations now factor into the final scores", Epic says.

So it's not that surprising to see it pop up now, just weeks ahead of the big Nintendo E3 conference. The filing was submitted in late May as "Fortnite Nintendo Switch" and was made public Friday morning.
