Multiple Casualties In Shooting In Toronto, Say Reports

Reports say the shooting happened in the Danforth and Logan avenues area on Sunday night.

Two more people were to be transported from the scene to a local hospital - making it a total of 10 patients so far, the Canadian station reported.

Toronto police have confirmed that the shooter is dead and that there are fatalities.

A reporter from Canada's Global TV wrote on Twitter that victims were "spread across many blocks".

A GUNMAN has opened fire in the city of Toronto, with early reports saying victims can be seen scattered across the ground for "many blocks".

One of the victims is believed to be a child, according to local news outlets but the victims' conditions are unknown.

Streets in the area have been closed while police and other emergency services respond.

Alek Minassian, 25, will face multiple murder and attempted murder charges in relation to that attack when he reappears in court on September 14.
