Earlier this week, TMZ reported those close to the "Sober" singer were going to give her an ultimatum: get help or lose some close relationships.

A source said: "People in contact with her have not even broached the subject of rehab, because she's still not out of the woods after her overdose a week ago". Demi was very sick and her family did not want to upset her with something that might trigger conflict.

She's expected to be released from Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles this week and her team is advising her to check into rehab. So, she is being treated for these issues that are common after a drug overdose.

She has a strong desire to live and to get back on her feet, hence she has agreed to go to the rehabilitation center and seek a treatment.

Unnamed sources told TMZ Thursday and People Friday that the singer will begin treatment immediately after she is discharged. We have no idea how she will receive the message that she desperately needs rehab. "Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy and not speculation as her health and recovery is the most important thing right now". It is known that she was found unconscious and brought to life with naloxone - a substance that is used to overdose from heroin and other opioids.
