Still, getting star treatment from the biggest streaming platform around is definitely a good thing for a new product - though we don't know how friendly the Galaxy Home will be to potential buyers using other services.

It did reveal the speaker has eight microphones that will delivery "far-field voice recognition" for its Bixby. They aren't expected to really dive into that until their Samsung Developer Conference in November.
