Crypto slowdown: This real-time ray tracing capability should help juice sales of Nvidia's graphics chips for gaming, and that could be excellent timing for the company.
In other news, in the same blog-post, NVIDIA also posted a PCB shot and shows a photo of the new vapor chamber which covers the TU104 GPU (RTX 2080).

Nvidia will sell the new RTX cards through partners such as Asus, EVGA, and Gigabyte.
So far, Nvidia has not announced when it will launch lower-end models of the RTX series. Ray-Tracing will only be supported on these cards, so if you're looking for the absolute best that's more than just a resolution change, these cards are it. It offers 45 trillion RTX ops per second, several times the performance of a Titan X. The 2070 offers higher performance than the $1,200 Titan XP, Huang said.
You can check out all the video below, alongside a trailer dedicated to Battlefield V showing pretty much the same things but in a much more condensed way. Fortunately for us, there will be three triple-A titles that will fully support NVIDIA's ray-tracing technology at launch. Developers include EA, Square Enix, EPIC Games, and more. The RTX series also dedicates a significant level of support to advanced VR rendering, which is good news for anyone running a device on their PC.More news: Motorola P30 looks like an iPhone X and Huawei P20 Pro mashup
