Colorful adds NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti & RTX 2080 into AD series

Powered by the new NVIDIA Turing™ GPU architecture and the revolutionary NVIDIA RTX platform, the new graphics cards bring together real-time ray tracing, artificial intelligence, and programmable shading. RTX-OPS is a new performance measurement by NVIDIA and takes an aggregate score of the Turing Shaders, CUDA Cores, Tensor Cores, and RT Cores needed to render RTX graphics.

A GeForce RTX 2070 is also due in October - with pre-orders open for all Founders Edition cards now via NVIDIA.

The next-generation NVIDIA GeForce GPU is here, and naturally ZOTAC is announcing their new video card line up as well.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang isn't making video gamers wait long for super-fast graphics cards built on the company's new Turing chip design.

MSI has the RTX 2080 listed on Amazon for the same price as the founders edition.

The real-time tracing technology is a rendering technique available for the PC version of the game which will be available on Steam. A GTX 1080 Ti, Huang noted, could only run the Infiltrator demo at approximately 30 FPS. The RX 2080 Ti can process 10 GigaRays a second and 78T RTX operations, while the other cards in the family are progressively slower.

The NVIDIA Ansel framework converts each screenshot into a piece of creative expression with a powerful in-game photo mode and lets the users share them directly on Facebook, Google Photos, and Imgur.

First up is the RTX 2070, starting at $499.99. GTX is out, and RTX is in, and it indicates Nvidia has chose to put all its money on Ray Tracing as the flagship feature for this new generation of GPUs. (For an example, see the plane in the picture above from the Battlefield V game.) Generating lifelike reflections, refractions, and other effects requires considerable computing power, which has held ray tracing back in consumer gaming. 'As a result, different areas of the game have received different levels of polish while we work toward complete implementation of this new technology.

Nvidia also promised these new RTX GPUs will deliver 6 times more performance than its predecessors. But the cards have special features created to speed up some tasks like artificial intelligence applications and a particular graphics function known as ray tracing that helps depict light reflections.
