"I'm waiting for LAPD", Arnold tweeted.
Tom tweeted about the event, and then replied to Mark's wife Roma Downey on Twitter as well. The actor has a new Viceland show called The Hunt for the Trump Tapes with Tom Arnold, which chronicles his quest to uncover the potentially damaging tapes of the now-president during his Apprentice days.
Actress Alyson Hannigan also tweeted that she saw the fight break out but did not say who started it.
Comedian Tom Arnold filed a police report Monday over an incident involving the producer of the "The Apprentice" at a weekend pre-Emmy Awards party, police said. Arnold has been publicly calling out Mark for not releasing any tapes and outtakes that may have Trump allegedly using racial slurs or making profane statements.More news: Morrison: Only one title challenger out of Liverpool and Spurs
Meanwhile, at a recent promotional appearance for his new show, Arnold said, "Mark Burnett says he's a Christian, and he lets that man do all that bullsh*t, and he let a sexual harasser work on his show". "I'm like, 'What about the country guys?' " Arnold is also quoted as saying: "I'm definitely going to do something at the Emmys".
"The Hunt for the Trump Tapes, have you not heard about it?"
The tapes were previously claimed to exist by Omarosa Manigault Newman, a former White House aide.
"In August, Trump tweeted, "@MarkBurnettTV called to say that there are NO TAPES of the Apprentice where I used such a bad and disgusting word as attributed by Wacky and Deranged Omarosa". Tom might be an opportunist but if Mark has the tapes, we understand the demand to see them.More news: Man reportedly eats strawberry with needle inside, police confirm 4 ‘contamination’ incidents
Arnold's comments contributed to the view of the Burnett camp that the confrontation at Evening Before was planned by Arnold.
CNN has reached out to a rep for Fogel, Arnold and Downey for additional comment. "[Burnett] called to say that there are NO TAPES of the Apprentice where I used such a bad and disgusting word as attributed by Wacky and Deranged Omarosa", Trump tweeted last month.
"He sits next to Donald Trump and gives him cover and he never says one word". "She made it up".
"Tom Arnold clearly manufacturing a publicity stunt to promote his show that only lunatics will watch", one person wrote in a tweet.More news: Trump disputes hurricane death toll in Puerto Rico
