Samsung Galaxy M20 spotted at the FCC

Posted January 07, 2019

While we're still clueless about the price of the Samsung Fold, one can definitely expect it to be very expensive, especially since it comes with the specs of a flagship smartphone and is also one of the first few foldable smartphones. And interestingly, there could be two phones in a brand new M series of Galaxy smartphones.

Moving on, the bezels around the edges of the display look smaller compared to last year's Galaxy S9, which is the natural trajectory of things. Samsung is reportedly looking forward to launch its Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 in January in India and both the phones will look identical.

The support page mentions the model number SM-M105F/DS variant of the Galaxy M10 on its website, and the phone will be a dual-SIM one, which is not surprising for the Indian market.

The handset will be coming with the Samsung Exynos 7885 chipset, according to the listing but there are speculations that it might actually come with Exynos 7904. It is hard to confirm from the image as to whether it is the Galaxy M10 or M20.

The upcoming M20 is said to be sporting a 6.13-inch display and has the connectivity options like Bluetooth v5.0 and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. The Infinity V notch display means they will offer a higher screen-to-body ratio. All three phones are expected to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor and should get the latest Snapdragon 855/ Exynos 9820 SoC.

Evan Blass, who is popular on Twitter for his leaks about unreleased smart devices, uploaded a leaked image of Galaxy S10. Out of the box, it will be coming with Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with the companies own UI on top and could be getting further updates also when available. Samsung has not launched any new devices under this brand for a while now.
