Samsung Galaxy S10: Launch date, expected price and specifications

Posted January 15, 2019

The teaser that Samsung released for its February 20 event confirms that we'll get to see the Galaxy S10 that day. What that means for the United States isn't concrete, but Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint have all confirmed that they will carry a Samsung 5G phone at some point.

Finally, the report states that the main S10 series will hit shelves in Samsung's home region on March 8, while the S10 X will debut later on March 29. It make clear sense that Samsung is not willing to share the limelight with other smartphone manufacturers as the Samsung Galaxy S10 is concerned. According to the website, the "EB-BF900ABA", "EB-BF901ABA", and "EB-BG977ABU" are the serial numbers of the batteries of the Samsung's forthcoming Galaxy models. Tipster had previously claimed that upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10, Samsung Galaxy S10+, and Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite will respectively pack a 3,500mAh, a 4,000mAh and a 3,100mAh battery.

Rumours indicate that there could be two more variants of the Galaxy S10 this year.

ETNews also says that like the rest of the Galaxy S10 family, the S10 X will feature something called "life pattern mode" that attempts to control and automate certain parts of the phone by using AI to monitor typical usage patterns. We've already seen Google attempt to bring in this kind of daily AI assistance with Android 9.0 Pie, but it sounds like Samsung wants to take it a step further.
