Following her introduction from Kate Silverton the Duchess of Cambridge delivered a speech thanking those who were there in helping to improve mental health in schools.

The Duchess of Cambridge beamed as she arrived at the conference, dressed in a smart and stylish ensemble.

While members of the public whooped and cheered as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived outside the Royal Albert Hall in Kensington, London, the noise quickly fell to silence as the couple entered the auditorium.

But even though her look screamed "business", she's the future queen of England.

The gala dinner, which was held at the Victoria and Albert Museum, benefited the Mentally Healthy Schools program that's part of the royals' Heads Together foundation.

Kate was busy earlier today supporting mental health charities at several engagements.

The Duke and Duchess attended last year's BAFTAs ceremony, when Kate was pregnant with Prince Louis, and the audience stood quiet as they entered.

The mum-of-three also wore Princess Diana's diamond and south sea pearl dangle earrings, with an equally exquisite diamond bracelet.

The event brought together delegates from across mental health and education sectors to explore and discuss the benefits of collaborative working.

The attractive jewels were the flawless finishing touch to Kate's embellished dress and took centre stage thanks to her elegant up-do.

"And how critical it is, everyone looking after children at a critical time, teachers, parents, and everyone who's caring for them, how important it is that we get it right".
