Rodgers needs to get the big personalities on his side at Leicester

Jamie Vardy's equaliser seemed to have earned Rodgers' men a draw at Vicarage Road after the striker cancelled out an early header by Troy Deeney 15 minutes from time.

Rodgers took charge of his first game for the Foxes after he watched the win over Brighton and Hove Albion from stands on Tuesday evening. It's not about [moving to a bigger club], it's about the challenge and coming to the Premier League.

The Northern Irishman infuriated the Bhoys support by abandoning the club late in the season, with an unprecedented third consecutive domestic treble still to play for.

Rodgers was appointed Leicester City's new manager at the end of February after leaving his job at Celtic.

On Rodgers' managerial debut for the Foxes, his side suffered a 2-1 reverse after Andre Gray struck in the second minute of injury time. But the biggest challenge for Rodgers will be his relationship with the club's senior players.

Rodgers abandoned his post at Parkhead to replace Claude Puel at Leicester City last week, making a return to the Premier League following a three-and-a-half year absence since his sacking by Liverpool back in October 2015.
