Akash and Shloka got married on March 9 at the Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai. A three-day extravaganza at St Moritz in Switzerland saw the music band The Chainsmokers and Coldplay's Chris Martin perform to an audience full of Bollywood stars, as well as a carnival bash which was opened to the locals for two hours.

After Beyoncé's performance at daughter Isha Ambani's sangeet, Mukesh Ambani made sure to take the bar a notch higher at his eldest son's wedding.

This is precisely why Bhuvan Bam's little tweak to Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta's wedding videos is the comic respite we all needed.

Mukesh Ambani's residence Antilia was all decked up with flowers for his son's wedding. And trust me you, the moment the first few sets of pictures from their wedding were out, we could only gape in wonderment because Akash and Shloka complemented each other in every sense! The newlyweds also danced to She Will Be Loved.

Proud parents Mukesh and Nita Ambani danced all the way through the baraat. Similar to the Isha-Anant big fat wedding previous year, the function was attended by a host of celebrities and politicians not just from India, but from around the world.
