Of course, Daenerys is in for some serious surprises during season 8-from discovering that Jon is a Targaryen and the true heir to the throne to seeing what the Night King has done to her dragon.

Just in time for the hit show's premiere of its final season Sunday night, the town of Gilbert released a "Game of Thrones"-themed video to encourage residents to "recycle right". Because it's a series on HBO, Game of Thrones won't be on Netflix for streaming.

The first ever season of Game of Thrones premiered in the month of April, 2011 and since then, the show has remained an all time favourite of its fans.

The man is followed around by "Thrones"-esque characters who yell "Shame!" and throw newspapers and garbage at him". In the United Kingdom, the episode is being aired at exactly the same time - though this translates as the unruly hour of 2am on Sky Atlantic or NOWTV here - but also re-airs at 9pm on Monday the 15th.

If you are unfamiliar with live-streaming TV, think of it as the online version of the traditional cable TV package. Simply log into the HBO Go app (on your smartphone, tablet, console, TV etc.) and select Game of Thrones.

Two other live-streaming TV packages start at around $45 per month, plus an extra $15 for premium channels like HBO, and yes they will let you stream Game of Thrones for free during free-trial periods.

While you can't stream the channel live, you can stream the episodes through your HBO Now account. For this, you can use HBO Go or HBO Now.

Stars from the HBO fantasy epic congregated in Belfast on Friday, to fete the show's eighth series, which will air from April 14.
